Godfrey maps

The Alan Godfrey series of reproduction Ordnance Survey maps are some of the finest maps available for the local and family historian. All but the smallest alleys and courts are named on the 15" series and even these small byways are identified on the 36" series for Manchester and Liverpool. The maps identify and name many civic buildings, factories, pubs, schools and churches. Street indexes are available for the Manchester 36" and 15" series of maps covering the centre of Manchester.
